Molly having a nightmare

"Annie?!, Annie!!, Annie?!"

Molly is in the first scene where Annie sings "Maybe." She begins to cry and calls for Annie after having a nightmare. While Annie is comforting her, Pepper beings to shout at Molly because she woke her up, calling her a "baby." After a fight, which Annie breaks up, Annie finishes singing "Maybe," while holding Molly in her arms, until Miss Hannigan interrupts her.

She then goes on to sing "It's the Hard Knock Life" with the rest of the orphans, leading them as Miss Hannigan towards the end of the song.

When Annie comes back to the orphanage with Sandy, Molly asks what his name is, guessing Fifi. They then go on to sing the song "Sandy."

Molly 1982 singing “Santa clause we never see”

"Santa Claus we never see"

When Bert Healy is on the radio, Molly and the rest of the orphans start singing and dancing to the song "You're Never Fully Dressed without a Smile," with Molly leading the singing. This is Molly's signature scene in the movie.

When Miss Hannigan, Rooster Hannigan and Lily St. Regis were planning to hurt Annie, Molly tries to warn Pepper, but Pepper forces her to clean the bathroom, and when Molly tries to run away, Pepper threatens to "give her a knuckle sandwich." She begins to cry, and after cleaning one toilet, she hits Pepper with a mop and runs to warn the rest of the orphans. The orphans then try to run away to warn Annie, but the villains catch them and lock them in the closet.

Pepper leads them to their escape, and they being to run to the Warbucks mansion. Tired of, the orphans vote to go back to the orphanage, despite Molly's pleas, but after they find Sandy, they are motivated to continue their trip. When they get to the mansion, Molly is scared by Punjab, and faints. When they find Oliver Warbucks, she tells him that Annie's parents are fake, and then faints again.

Molly is seen in the last scene, where she is celebrating the 4th of July with Annie, and she is wearing a pink frill dress, white socks, a white hat and light blue shoes and white crochet gloves. She, then gets adopted by Oliver Warbucks and becomes the little sister of Annie.

Annie: A Royal Adventure[]

In the 1995 sequel, Molly is 8 (an unfortunate thing because Hannah says 9 is too old, and when one is too old, adoption is hard), as it takes place two years after the first. Molly has intentions of having a family, which Annie thinks should be a special one. Later, she is adopted by a British family in England.
