Warning! This article contains spoilers.

The Asp is one of Oliver Warbucks' bodyguards, the other being Punjab in the original "Little Orphan Annie" comic strip. Like Punjab, he was used in the 1982 film version of Annie and its 1995 (in the US)/1996 (internationally) sequel Annie: A Royal Adventure!, but never appeared in the stage musical or Disney's 1999 film adaption.
